Českomoravská-Kolben, a. s.: Due to the merger of two large engineering companies the basis of CKD trademark was formed.

Insolvency was resolved; a new structure of shareholders with major shareholder was formed. Due to the new investors and management a new stage in development began: significant improvement of existing technology which was already successful, in line with implementation of the new one.
CKD Kutná Hora has the following facilities: KH Foundry, KH Machining Shop, Chrudim Machining Shop and RDC, a subsidiary engaged in production of pattern equipment. KH Foundry supplies to the national and foreign customers the steel castings of 5–12,000 kg of weight, and sized, heat-treated steel shot. KH Machining Shop supplies complete bogies, machined bogie frames and other welded components of railway vehicles and construction machinery. RDC produces foundry patterns and moulds for plastic forming. Chrudim Machining Shop ensures final machining of weldments, castings, and forgings.
